Nothing worse than spending hundreds on a plumbing job!

There is nothing worse than spending hundreds on a plumbing job only to have the same problem happen again.

Don’t you just wish the plumber will tell you what “not to do”?

We talked to some Sydney plumbers and here are what we found out.

  1. Practice preventative plumbing

Not just in health but prevention is better than cure even in plumbing. These include:

  • Unclogging your drains;
  • fixing leaking faucets and toilets;
  • always cleaning showerheads and drains from any debris.

Always check your pipes and drains regularly before they cause you any trouble.

Scheduling regular plumbing maintenance calls with your Sydney plumber will keep your plumbing issues at bay.

  1. Don’t throw things down your loo!

It might be too tempting to just let everything go down the drain but this can cause you more harm than ease. Be careful of what you throw down your loo because stuck debris can lead to leaky pipes and flooding.

Other than what’s supposed to go down the loo, make sure you also don’t flush down something reactive.

  1. Watch out for leaking taps

Leaking taps already tell you there’s something wrong with your pipes. Plus it can waste a lot of water and add up to a higher than expected water bill. This can get worse over time. Check the handles to see if there are no water drips.

Get your plumber to fix your leaking taps before they cost you more!
